The Family Program is non-smoking as is the entire centre. This correlates with our statement of purpose.

Families stay in units which have 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a kitchen. Small families are expected to share kitchen units. Kitchen’s come fully equipped. All bedding and towels are also provided.
Lunch and dinner are provided Monday thru Friday. For breakfast and weekend meals, families must provide grocery funds.
The family program has a School District# 27 run school. There is 1 teacher and 1 teacher assistant. All school age children are required to bring 8 weeks of school work with them.
During the day adults attend group sessions which cover a variety of topics. The topics may be geared specifically to the particular group but there are sessions that include: communication, self-esteem, gambling, nutrition and anger management and more.
Physical activity is encouraged at Nenqayni. There is a walking chart so families can keep track of the distance they walked during their stay. Families also have a gym equipped with workout equipment, and can enjoy volleyball, basketball, badminton etc.
